Second Salon de la Finance to be held in Geneva's Bâtiment des Forces Motrices, 5-6 October 2011

The Salon de la Finance will once again open its doors on 5 and 6 October 2011 in Geneva's Bâtiment des Forces Motrices. Universally acknowledged as the world capital of private wealth management, Geneva is an ideal meeting place for financial sector operators. Spurred on by the success of the FONDS fund fair and the Structured Products Fair in Zurich, the promoters of these two events decided to join forces and organise the Salon de la Finance in Geneva with a view to offering investors in French-speaking Switzerland a platform to meet, inform and interact. The first Salon de la Finance in October 2008 attracted almost 1,600 visitors and was hailed as a success by the exhibitors despite coming right in the middle of the financial crisis. Those who attended – mainly professional investors – especially appreciated the quality and diversity of the exhibitors and the talks offered.

Second time around, the promoters have decided to relocate the Salon de la Finance from Geneva's financial district to the Bâtiment des Forces Motrices, a former pumping station on the river Rhone. For two days, this forum for finance professionals as well as private and institutional investors to meet and exchange information will focus on all aspects of investment funds and structured products. A wide-ranging programme of talks, seminars and discussions led by renowned speakers makes the Salon de la Finance a must for investors.
